—This Basic Life Support course trains first responders such as nurses, policemen, firemen, dentists, and other healthcare workers how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults, children and infants until more advanced medical personnel take over. Learn the skills needed to respond appropriately to breathing and cardiac emergencies including one-and two-rescuer CPR, how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED), CPR and bag-valve-masks and other basic life support procedures. Also offered as a BLS Renewal course for those already certified.

This is a blended learning online self paced course lasting roughly 1.5 hours, with a separate skills session lasting 30-45 minutes.
